The Mission of the Encouraging Women into Franchising Group (EWIF) is to “inspire, educate, encourage and support women looking to become franchisees, women business owners looking to franchise their business, and existing franchisors that are under represented by women franchisees.”
The Encouraging Women into Franchising group (EWIF) has representatives from all areas of the franchise world and women’s support agencies and meets regularly throughout the year. The mission of the group is to “inspire, educate, encourage and support women looking to become franchisees, women business owners looking to franchise their business, and existing franchisors that are under represented by women franchisees.”
EWIF members offer a range of services to women considering franchising including: Free ½ hour telephone support and advice; and mentoring. The group also will undertake public speaking; provide case studies; media interviews; and attendance at local events free of charge. In addition EWIF is undertaking new research into all aspects of women in franchising.
