The Cake Box currently has 20 franchises up and running, in Green Street, Barkingside, Birmingham, Bow, Derby, Ealing, Goodmayes, Gravesend, Harrow, Hayes, Leicester, Luton, Reading, Southall, Slough, Walthamstow, Welling, Wembley and Wood Green. Following a strong year of new openings in 2012, the company envisages opening at least 15 new stores nationally in 2013. Sukh Chamdal, Founder and Managing Director stated "We've had a tremendous response for our products from our customers with sales from existing shops now topping £5m for the year for the group as a whole. 2013 will see the brand rolled out nationally".
