What is Bubble Tea?
Bubble tea has different names, commonly known as Boba, Pearl Milk Tea, Boba Tea, and Tapioca Milk Tea. It was generally a tea-based drink which originated in Taiwan back in the 1980s and was later introduced to different countries. Classic Pearl Milk Tea, also called the original black milk tea with pearl, is a pairing of black tea, milk, and sugar with pearl balls. When mixing the tea, ice, and milk, the making of bubble tea will create silky foam (“bubbles”), thus the name of bubble tea.
