I am an experienced and qualified franchise professional providing a variety of services (funding, business planning, resales, valuations and business training) to both Franchisors and Franchisees through three different businesses: Franchise Business Training and Consultancy Limited (co-founder and Chairman), NGI Franchise Funding (Senior Consultant) and Chantry Group (Senior Business Valuer).

I started my business career with NatWest, became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and following a successful career, left in 2000 to start my own consultancy and training businesses which ultimately included Franchise Finance Limited, a joint venture, which became a top award winning provider of finance, business planning and training and was sold to Hitachi Capital in 2018.

I then took up a number of non-exec, mentoring and Chairman roles and I am a regular speaker at Franchise conferences and exhibitions and also contribute a variety of educational articles and blogs on business and franchise issues.
