Dan Archer
In 2017, Dan Archer founded Visiting Angels (VA) from his dining room table, introducing the concept of being carer-centric to tackle long standing issues that left care workers feeling undervalued. His mission is to transform how society views carers by rewarding them fairly, financially and personally, for the vital work they do.
As Founder and UK CEO, Dan has become a respected voice in the care sector, contributing to industry discussions through TED Talks, government lobbying, media interviews and conference panels.
From the outset, VA was built to value carers as highly as the clients they support, offering better pay, meaningful benefits, career progression, training and mental health support.
Dan’s ambition is for Visiting Angels to become the UK care sector’s Employer of Choice by 2030. With 72 offices and a target of 160 in the UK, VA is also expanding into Europe, aiming for 540 offices within 15 years.
