Nigel has 35 years of franchising experience. After starting with Foster Grant, he set up his own commerce enterprise which he sold with a multi-million pound valuation.
Nigel went on to work with Dollond & Aitchison, Boots and Guinot. At British Gas, he led the franchise team, adopting a creative approach to updating the seminal Dyno franchise.

Nigel speaks regularly at business events and his work is recognised by industry awards. In 2018, Nigel joined forces with fellow entrepreneur Tim Slesinger to disrupt the £1.2 billion UK self-storage market. easyStorage is part of the ‘easy’ brand made famous by easyJet. In down-time, Nigel is kept busy by his 15 year-old twin daughters. He loves sailing, marathons and learning to fly.
